Disappointed for the team, they have great talent!!We met up with Eric and Erin on Sunday. Went to cheer on our Cleveland Browns. Found Blondies in Las Vegas. Great place for football fans.Jalepena poppers were deadly at Guy Fieri’s. They were as big as a full pickle.
Ask Eric and Erin next tine you see them!!

We dropped them at their hotel, hugs and kisses. It was so nice to spend time with them. We will see them again at Christmas!! Safe travels!!

We are only on this earth but for a short time, I have been told.
I heard someone say recently, God only gives you so many heartbeats. So sad we don’t know when our last ones will come, so we could be there, say goodbye or tell them, they are loved.

Today, my Aunt Marg received her heavenly reward. She was greeted by Jesus for sure, her daughters, Debi and Mary Ann lead the way with the rest of the her family.

While, I feel she is at peace, I am thinking of her children grieving for the loss of their mother. And, Uncle Ed, grieving for his wife. And, my mom, her sister.

Aunt Marg will be missed so much. She always had a kind word or she would just say my name and I felt her love.
This morning at mass, I prayed for her, my cousins and Uncle so they may find peace.

I can only continue to live in honor of my family who came before me and showed me how to love.

We did not hear the sad news until we returned from our drive, but, this country is amazingly created. I imagine heaven will just blow my mind!! It would be my last greatest adventure for sure.

Barry and I drove the Wheeler Pass gravel road into the mountain range east of Pahrump hoping to see the pass to the other side. Was a very dry desert with many cactus and Joshua trees.
We drove for 2 hours and never saw the sign saying Wheeler Pass. Turned around and came home.

On our way back we saw 4 horses.

After getting whiplash from the gravel road, we watch football to see how we are doing on our Money, money, money football pool. Sandy is doing a great job!!

Barry and I worked today.

On our golf game!!!

We saw a Peregrine Falcon on the 9th hole.

We saw a Blue Herron sitting on the roof of a house on the 1st hole.

Then, a little dog came out just barking at us. He reminded us of our Granddog, Ernie.

Well, our golf game need lots of extra practices.

Relaxing outside, and checking out the moon and stars.

Oct 1st

Yesterday, I was attacked by my allergies. I keep hearing being in the west, I shouldn’t have them. Wrong, lots of sage out here which is a ragweed.
So Monday was a bust for site seening.

Today, was great, Barry and I drove to Ash Meadows, National Wildlife Preserve.

We saw a coyote.

Lizard

We saw little tiny pupfish.

Crystal Lake and a white herron hiding in the cattails.

Puff fish live in these springs, they are so very small we had a hard time to see them.
Barry and I left Ash Meadows and off we went to Death Valley National Park. We went to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. This park is so sculptured with the mountain ranges.

Badwater Basin. The lowet sea level in North America.
