Happy birthday to my sister, Theresa!!!
Yesterday, Barry and I drove to the White Sands National Monument, north of Las Cruces, NM. We went through a border crossing, I think it was our fifth one.
Just beautiful!! Gypsum sand everywhere and so soft to walk in!!
Today, we found a 2017 National Monument, Organ Mountain-desert Peaks, just north of Las Cruces.
We hiked a trail which was a stagecoach route at one time. We are hiking to the Van Patten Encampment and Dripping Springs.
Barry and I relaxed and recovered at the jacuzzi tonight. See you!! Stay healthy and enjoy the three weeks with your family!! Tomorrow, we are off and heading to Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico. We hope they are not closed.
