February 24th, 2020

It has been a long time since we posted our adventures. We settled in Congress, Arizona for the last 4 months.

While we enjoyed our stay it was time to move on to new adventures.

In January, we rented an UTV and travelled through the desert to the Hole in the wall waterfall.

In December, we flew home to Ohio for Family Christmas. And, we went back for our nephew, Jonathan and Kayla’s wedding in January.

We have been enjoying the North Ranch, Barry explores the desert with his electric bike while I line dance or bead bracelets. I met Betty who quilts and helped her sew fabric strips for a quilt back. We went to a quilt show, too.

The end of January, we went to Puerto Neuvo, Mexico. Met up with our friends, Jim, Jo, Roger, Barb, Jay and Leslie. Always fun enjoying sun, golf and drinks.

February was a fun month, Barry and I met with Leesa, Scott, Reagan and Brynne who where visiting their cousins in Gilbert, Arizona. We enjoyed seeing Stephen Sarah, Zander, Cameron, Grace and Mia and their new home. We went to San Tan Flats to celebrate Scott’s birthday and had great company, great place to visit and eat.

This past weekend, we moved to Scottsdale, AZ.

Gretchen came in for a conference and stayed with us for the weekend.

Eagleview RV Park is very nice, has a hot tub, heated pool and free donuts with coffee every morning. Oh, and a casino close by.

Barry and I went into Tonto National Forest on Saturday and today.

Lake Roosevelt

We stopped at the Tonto National Monument and hiked the trail to the lower cliff dwellings.

On the way home, we travelled by Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, then, saw a large group of wild horses grazing. Great day to see our beautiful land.
