First thing, Happy Birthday to Barry’s sister, Pam. We hope you enjoyed your day.

We shall see you in Washington after Labor Day.

Well, today was adventurous to say the least.

Barry and I drove into The Grand Teton National Park.

Funny thing though, we only made it to Jenny Lake. Waterfalls are my most favorite thing to see.

They had a boat ride over to where the waterfalls are located. That is what I would have liked to do. However, Barry was wanting to see wildlife. So, we took the hiking path, after 2 miles and 2 hours of climbing over rocks and tree limbs, we made it. Was suppose to be a moderate trail. It is not!

I’m wearing my vivosmart, 11714 steps and 33 stairs later, one way and we left at 12:00 arrived at 2:00. It was tough to say the least. I will never ever forget this hike.

It was unthinkable to hike back for another 2 hours or more since it would be mostly downhill.

I prayed to be able to ride the boat back to the visitor center; my prayers were answered. Yeah!!

The Hidden waterfalls were beautiful. I could have stayed an hour listening to the water rushing over the rocks. Plus, just sit getting my heart rate back to somewhat normal so I could trek downhill to my rescue boat.

After 15 minutes, we were off again.

Oh, while we were hiking, around 1 mile, I stopped to rest a bit. All of the sudden, Barry tells me there is a moose close to me. I turned right and saw him 10 ft away. He was relaxed, not aggressive, thank goodness. I got up and walked away very quickly.

Barry tells me to take a picture even though he has his phone. I did, these are the shots. At first, I thought I just got his back end with one leg, but, it is still his back end but a whole moose. Hey, we found wildlife!! Or, they found us!!

Our son in law, Greg, told us about a restaurant in Jackson Hole called Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. After our hike, we were ready for refreshments. This bar has saddles as bar stools.

The inside was very country and had a band playing music. Nice ending to a busy day.

We are home relaxing now. It was a great day full of exercise. Good night!!
