Today was a beautiful day, so we decided to check out the 9 hole golf course close to where we are staying. Pictures are better than words.
Dan Gable’s Wrestling Museum Visit
This afternoon we drove to Waterloo, Iowa to tour the museum. Barry, when in high school, met Dan Gable during a summer wrestling camp. So, I thought Barry would enjoy visiting the museum.

Our day began at Dyersville, Iowa going to the Field of Dreams Movie site. Barry and I went on the home tour and walked around the ballfield. Many families were there playing ball with their children on the field, walking back into the corn field, too.

We left St. Louis this morning travelling to Marengo, Iowa. We are settled in for the next few days and will venture out early tomorrow. After a really stormy night, we went to the St. Louis Zoo. Temperate dropped to 70’s today and today was a very pleasant day.
July 21st This evening, we rode the metro to the Arch. I really wanted to see it during evening hours. We sat in this small circular pod and rode to the top of the arch, what an opportunity to see how incredible the Arch is. Watched a movie on how it was built.
